Should any of yall ever need to save time and not return to the ER to have your stitches removed, (should you ever be carving turkey for your dogs without wearing gloves meant for scuba divers in shark infested waters like those metal ones that are knife/shark tooth proof<---my future method of meat carving---and slip...)
that is now a task I can say I know how to do.
(yes, both the knife slipping on turkey AND suture removal)
Hell, who needs an E.R. doc when there are instructional videos now on You Tube, right?
It's not the cost: I do have wicked good insurance, (thankfully... considering I"ve either become accident-prone or lost some intelligence)...It's the challenge, really.
When you learn new skills your brain improves, right? Thus, it would stand to reason, one would be preventing future accidents in a way...if one learns m.d. skills in a few minutes, eh?
It's lovely to bend my knuckle again...AAAAAHHHH...
Good thing I had tweezers and scissors at work the second I'd had my fill of a knuckle with knots. Alex always says between my desk and purse I could win anything they asked for on "Let's Make A Deal"
(And the digit still works so I did ok THIS time.)
Gives new meaning to the term "Let's Play Doctor"

I think I speak for all of us when I say...GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!
it's actually far less unnerving to do it yourself and really because you know what's going on...no different than plucking an eyebrow, otherthan you have to cut the knot first.
Putting em in...I couldn't watch, but this isn't bad. It's healed.
My finger looks good. (well, not PRETTY...but like it will be, perhaps, again one day because it's a clean scar) Now, with only approximate 1 million more YouTube videos, I'll be able to pass all medical school tests.
